As the brand ambassador of GFI Tour, I had the privilege of inaugurating the All India Civil Services Golf Championship on November 4, 2023, marking the commencement of the GFI Tour 2023. It was an honor to be joined by Hon’ble Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal and Hon’ble Justice Arun Kumar Monga. This year, we're not only swinging golf clubs but also making a positive impact through various social initiatives, including plantation drives, the promotion of renewable energy, raising awareness about sustainable growth, providing educational support, and more. I have always believed that sports tournaments serve as an excellent platform for driving social change, and it brings me immense joy that the GFI Tour has so seamlessly integrated golf with social responsibility, making me hopeful that other sports tournaments will follow suit. Congratulations to Mr Aryavir Arya, Founder, Golf Federation India, for the successful hosting of the GFI tour.

10 years ago, I visited Punsari village in Gujarat. It was led by Shri @himanshupunsari, the then sarpanch. Under his leadership, the place transformed into one of the finest villages in India, a model village that excels in every way. After ensuring basic amenities, he went a step further to provide internet, CCTV surveillance, renewable energy plant in the village, elements that are generally envisioned in a modern, smart city. Shri Himanshu has been the real quality champion at grassroot level. I am elated to welcome him as a co-opted member of @QualityCouncilofindia's Governing Body. With his guidance and inputs, QCI will take the quality movement to villages, which will ultimately help realise Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi's vision of developed nation in real sense #Gujarat #india #leadership

Met Shri @himanshupunsari, former Sarpanch of Pansuri village in Gujarat and Shri Dilip Tripathi, Sarpanch of Hasudi Ausanpur one of the first Indian villages ( mistakenly refered to as last villages by many) on the Indo-Nepal border in Uttar Pradesh.
