As the brand ambassador of GFI Tour, I had the privilege of inaugurating the All India Civil Services Golf Championship on November 4, 2023, marking the commencement of the GFI Tour 2023. It was an honor to be joined by Hon’ble Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal and Hon’ble Justice Arun Kumar Monga. This year, we're not only swinging golf clubs but also making a positive impact through various social initiatives, including plantation drives, the promotion of renewable energy, raising awareness about sustainable growth, providing educational support, and more. I have always believed that sports tournaments serve as an excellent platform for driving social change, and it brings me immense joy that the GFI Tour has so seamlessly integrated golf with social responsibility, making me hopeful that other sports tournaments will follow suit. Congratulations to Mr Aryavir Arya, Founder, Golf Federation India, for the successful hosting of the GFI tour.

In a historic first for India, a foreign university has announced a full-fledged campus on Indian soil. “University of Wollongong” is all set to open their international campus at Savvy Pragya-2 at GIFT City, the first and the only operational smart city in India. #QualityLeaders Indian villages have a different soul. The people here, the emotions, the amity here feels genuine and lively. Met Shri @himanshupunsari, former Sarpanch of Pansuri village in Gujarat and Shri Dilip Tripathi, Sarpanch of Hasudi Ausanpur one of the first Indian villages ( mistakenly refered to as last villages by many) on the Indo-Nepal border in Uttar Pradesh. They have built the modern ideal villages that have all the amenities required for a good standard of life. Be it education, sports, recreation, public spaces, utilities, hygiene, vocational training, every aspect has been curated with a deep understanding of public life and futuristic vision. They both focus on elevating the over quality of life that aims at preserving the essence of India' s rural ethos. This vision is made more memorable as the Honorable CM of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Education Minister Shri Jitubhai Waghani , Principal Smt Rajulben Gajjar along with faculty , Alumni ( Kuntal , Jaxay , Aanand and others) unveils the 75th anniversary logo and its Centennial Vision yesterday. This logo is a realization of our founding principles, core values, vision, and our perception of LDCE. The 6 sides of the Logo represent our fundamental values including Academic Excellence, Innovation, Collaboration, Self-reliance, Leadership and Industry & Social Relevance, while the 16 surfaces represent the 16 departments of LDCE. The Centennial Vision lays the roadmap for the next 25 years at LD, with an aim to: 1) Achieve academic excellence in current and emerging technologies; 2) Provide best-in-class infrastructure and support systems in a world-class campus; 3) Enabling enhanced engagement with industry and society at large.
