The Indian cricket team, a microcosm of India's rich diversity, stands as a representative of a sixth of the world's population. From the bustling city of Mumbai comes Rohit Sharma, while Shreyas Iyer, with roots in Kerala, proudly hails from Maharashtra. K L Rahul, a Mangalorean, shares the team with Hardik Pandya, a proud Gujarati. Surya Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav bring the essence of Uttar Pradesh to the squad.
